OVERVIEW
The Primewell PS890 Touring is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Primewell offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model, or a 35,000 mile one for the rear placement of staggered vehicles.
The all season traction is ensured with the tread design and the all season tire compound. The asymmetric ribbed pattern with the ideal siping detail increases the grip in dry, wet and winter weather, while the compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. The tread’s circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint, keeping the surface contact at all times. This upgrades the wet and winter weather traction, enhancing the year round driving safety levels.
The tread design also improves the driving comfort levels. The asymmetric tread features a variable phase shift along the tread area. This phase shift manages to generate a special sound frequency which cancels out the sound waves created during the drive. In this manner, the tire prevents road and tread pattern noise from being heard in the vehicle’s cabin by the passengers. The ribbed pattern also lowers the road vibrations. The tread closely follows the road surface while the tires are in motion, minimizing the road vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin. By lessening the road disturbances felt and heard in the vehicle’s cabin, the tire guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
The PS890 Touring enhances the controllability. The ribbed tread pattern maintains the tire’s surface contact at all times. This enables the tire to increase the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. As a result, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder tread block placement upgrades the cornering ability. These blocks increase the cornering and maneuvering ability and power with extra grip on the road surface during the vehicle’s maneuvering. This combination guarantees the driver’s constant control over the vehicle at all times.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.

- Prior to placing any Order, the Buyer must make sure that the specifications and size of the Item they are purchasing are appropriate for their vehicle.
- The Production Year (if any) is specified in each Item's "Item specifics". By making a purchase, the Buyer agrees to receive the Item with the advertised Year (if any). We try not to sell Tires that are more than 4 Years old, but there may be some variance in the received Tires.
