The factory one is very restrictive 2.5" piping and is crushed to half the diameter of the piping near the rear o2 sensor.
This one is 3" diameter stainless piping that necks down to a 2.5" exit flange so it can bolt right up to your factory exhaust. It also includes an EPA 48 state legal high flow catalytic converter than values for over $200 by itself. We are pretty much the only company that has EPA legal converters on their performance exhaust pipes. This is perfect for the supercharged 3800 vehiclesWe are the leader in the 3800 Series II engine and have been making and selling these for over 15 years, longer than anyone on the market. The stock downpipe is very restrictive. Depending on what you have done to your car it adds up to 15 HP.
This is a complete bolt on. Will bolt to your stock exhaust manifold and connect to your stock catback exhaust system. You'll see others trying to replicate, but there is just no comparison. We run Interlock Flex Section. Not a cheap flex that frays away. All the flanges and exhaust hanger is also stainless.
