This will fit the 2.2's also, but does not have the extra o2 bung needed for the 2.2's and for the 2.2's we do not recommend a 3" downpipe. You can search our other auctions for the 2.5" versions.
This catalytic converter is not legal in New York or California. On another auction we offer the 2.5" downpipe with a California legal catalytic converter
This auction includes an expensive 400 Cell high flow 48 state EPA legal OBDII heavy metal catalytic converter so you will have not have any check engine light issues. This converter alone retails for around $150. You can compare to anyone else attempting to sell a similar product and I can guarantee you that anybody even close to this price will have a very inexpensive off brand cat. We spared nothing on this downpipe. Everything is to the highest quality of standards. The Flex section of the stock factory downpipe on any Cobalt is guaranteed to fail. We sell hundreds of these downpipe and replacements flexes on a monthly basis as GM has a horrible flex section. Ours is an ungraded huge interlock flex section. We have been making these downpipes since 2006 and have yet to have a single failure on any flex on our downpipes. This is a direct bolt on downpipe. Front factory stainless 3 bolt flange will match directly to your stock exhaust manifold and the rear 2 bolt 2.5" flange will bolt right up to your stock catback exhaust. The rear flange will also bolt up to pretty much any 2.5" aftermarket catback exhaust also. Also included in this auction is the front and rear downpipe gaskets. All OEM style gaskets. Our downpipe provides you with the highest quality of materials, parts, etc. to replace broken factory part while providing a higher flowing performance part at the same time.
