Ford 80 Bit KeysThis listing is for brand new, never programmed Ford transponder keys. These keys are guaranteed to work on any vehicle found on the compatibility chart, so please make sure your year/make/model can be found there. Please note that transponder keys for these vehicles can be self-programmed but you must have 2 working keys in order to do so. A cloned key from a hardware store will not count as a working key. If you only have 1 working key, you\'ll need a local dealer or automotive locksmith to program the key for you. If you have 2, please follow these instructions.
1. Insert an existing (working) key into the ignition cylinder.
2. Turn the ignition cylinder ON (just shy of starting the car Without crankingthe engine) and back to OFF. Ignition should stay in ON position for at leastone second.
3. Remove the existing key and WITHIN TEN SECONDS, insert a second working keyand turn to ON and then back to OFF. Ignition must be on for at least onesecond but no more than ten seconds. Remove key.
4. Insert the New (unprogrammed) key before twenty seconds have elapsed andturn to ON. Leave it in the ON position for at least one second and turn backto OFF.
