The 'BRAKE' lamp lights up if you start the car but accidentally leave the parking brake deployed.Ever see a warning lamp where the lens is gone? If the switch stays 'on' too long, standard bulbs get hot enough to melt the lens! These 'flasher' bulbs stay cool. Use the correct bulb or it could mean disaster, later!PLEASE NOTE: The bulbs I'm selling here fit a long list of 1960s 'BRAKE' lamps, only, not the similar 'PARK' (lettered) lamps found in '67-up models.
