FACTORY REPRODUCTION AIR BOX:This is an exclusive reproduction air box. Manufactured with an OE fit and finish in mind, this air box is constructed from a durable, black, injected molded plastic. Utilizing factory dimensions and tolerances, this box is a perfect fit and a direct replacement for the original. Built in metal latches allow this air box to open and close the same as the factory box. A new foam seal is pre-installed to promote a leak-free seal to the fender apron. To prevent the box from rattling, this brand new reproduction air box includes new rubber dampers that help secure the box in place. The opening for the mass air flow coupler or intake tube is identical in size to the original. ***** Even a new reproduction Motorcraft parts decal is included making this the perfect restoration part for Fox Body Mustang! *****
MASS AIR FLOW METER BRACKET:Whether your 1989-1993 Mustang is missing its mass air mounting bracket, or you are performing a mass air conversion on your speed density 1986-1988 Mustang, this kit includes a new reproduction mass air meter mounting bracket kit. Featuring the correct bend and shape, this bracket mounts to the front of the passenger's side strut tower, and curves in toward your engine to properly position the mass air meter between the included air intake tube and rubber coupler. The bracket has pre-cut mounting holes, as well as integrated rubber bushings just like the OE bracket. There is a gloss black finish applied to provide corrosion protection and to resist wear from the exterior elements. To ease installation, all of the proper mounting hardware is included. Two of the shorter bolts attach the mounting bracket to the strut tower, and the three longer bolts fasten the mass air meter to the bracket!
MAF TO AIR BOX COUPLER:Your Mustang's original rubber coupler can become brittle and cracked causing an improper seal against the MAF housing and airbox, resulting in air and vacuum leaks. This coupler is manufactured in the exact same durometer rubber as the OE version, which allows flexibility for quick and easy air filter changes. Included with this coupler is a high-quality black worm gear clamp to attach the coupler to the MAF sensor and a period correct wire clamp to secure the coupler to the air box!
