The purpose of this pair of support brackets is to prevent the fiberglass header toyourvehicle from cracking. When the carowner or mechanic at your local shop leans on one side or the other todo work. This puts your car header panel with too much weight on the unsupported section. This section of the header which is the area above the headlights.
This pair of support brackets are designed to fit vehicles with original header panels with no missing studs. If trying to use on a remanufactured header panel these may not fit and modification "may be" necessary. If the hood is not aligned properly and sits too close to the front of the vehicle some modification of the top edge above the header screws may be necessary.
