This motor is not a cheap replica that has been flooding the market from off shore, so consider the true cost of purchasing one of the\"cheap\"motors.All you have to do is unhook the electrical connector, remove 2 screws from the bottom of the motor to remove the mounting bracket, unbolt the gearbox and install it on the new motor, re-install the new motor on the mounting bracket, hook up the wires and you will be able to enjoy the sun again. If you are replacing the electric motor you should consider replacing the relay also, if the relay goes bad it can cause the motor to burn out, it is inexpensive insurance to replace it and be sure you are ready to go.
