1964 - 1970 Ford Mustang Cougar 260 289 302 TRI Y CERAMIC Coated Exhaust Headers This is for a brand new set of Ceramic Coated Tri-Y Headers for 1964-1970 Ford Mustang 260 289 302 and Mercury Cougar. Exhaust manifolds in the 1964-1970 Ford Mustang were designed to combine the exhaust gasses from each of the cylinders quickly with a manifold that was cost effective to produce. These 4-2-1 Tri-Y Style headers are designed to allow the exhaust gasses to flow more freely from each 4 cylinder bank and combine in a more efficient manner. Tubing has been optimized for the 260/289/302 engines. This creates a reduction in cylinder backpressure and improved exhaust gas velocity. This frees up lost horsepower and torque.

These Headers feature a high-temperature resistant ceramic coating to keep the headers looking great and protect the other components under your hood from excessive heat.These headers are very nice, but they are not perfect show quality. There will be some nics and scuffs in the finish. As long as you aren't expecting flawless, you will be happy with this deal.
Please Note:
Will not fit GT-40P heads or AOD transmission. Manual transmission cars require additional driver's side header clearance around the steering box. Fits manual transmissions using 10" or 10.5" clutch only. 1968-up bellhousings require driver's side header clearance. Non-HiPo cars with manual transmission may need header clearance for clutch linkage.
