This is an original exhaust heat riser which was used on 1955 thru 1962 Fords, Thunderbirds and Mercurys which had a 272, 292 or 312 Y Block V8 engine and dual exhaust. The heat riser goes between the end of the RH exhaust manifold and the exhaust pipe. It allows the engine to warm up to the proper temperature before opening completely. It’s complete with the bimetal and anti rattle springs. It’s in excellent condition, works like new and is ready to install. We charge actual shippingor you would be welcome to pick it up. Thanks!
