This is a new oem factory pump that fits the xlr 4.4 V .
If you are having issues with the power steering it can be several things. The most common is the pulley wears leading to the shaft on the pump wearing down allowing the pulley to slip.
The pump may look ok but has to be measured to make sure its in specs
usually the pulley will need to be rebuilt. I do this service.
Also the start of the problem is usually the hydraulic tensioner going out. I also rebuild those.
