    Great looking, easy to install running boards

    I love these running boards, they look almost identical to my son's OE boards. I really like that they came with the plastic bracket covers, that most after market boards lack. It hides the hardware and just overall looks better. The plastic bracket covers were a bit difficult to get on, until I took some tin snips and just cut some material out where bolts needed to go. After that, they went on easy and look FANTASTIC. They appear to be sturdy and well made, and even came with 2 extra end caps. I am very happy that I bought these.

    Good looking but installation nightmare

    Running boards arrived quickly and well packed. Hardware appeared to be decent quality, boards looked good too. Began install and that's when everything went sideways. Clipnuts don't grip like they should, but a quick squeeze in the vice fixed that. Then attempted to bolt on brackets. Bolts included are too short. They grab maybe 1-2 threads before you start tightening them. If I didn't punch the clipnuts tighter they didn't want to catch at all. The slots in the brackets weren't long enough, had to elongate the holes in my truck to make them bolt up. The plastic cover pieces for the bracket look good and match well, but cover the bolt holes for the running boards to attach to. Used my drill and a sharp bit like a router to rout out the slot in the plastic for the bolts. I have installed ...

    Good boards, good looks, poor mounting system.

    The running board is of good quality and the mounting brackets are adequate. The problem is that the brackets are attached only to thin sheet metal of the inner rocker panel with threaded c-clips and not the frame/cab mounts. The sheet metal is not strong enough to support much weight on the boards. They need to make frame mounts for the boards to be solid. They look nice but I need more than cosmetic looks for a useful running board.

    They look good for about a month

    I wasn’t expecting these to be high quality but after I’ve had them installed for a month I’m noticing lots of issues. They rattle and have to be tightened up often, the metal is already pitting, they don’t sit even and after hours of trying to get them even they just move once you stand on them. I would recommend spending the extra money for a quality running board.

    You get what you pay for

    Love the look of these 6” boards with their polish chrome and black accents, however lacks integrity in materials and quality is just not there. Great look but disappointed overall. Clips included where bad quality and it was missing some parts for assembly. I have a 3 for looks alone
