    Replacement for original

    I purchased these only to replace the part with the broken key ring--I was going to swap out the electronics from the old units. When I go them I found the blank key was riveted to the half of the assembly I needed to change so I could NOT make the parts swap. I will see if I can get the blank key cut to use as a replacement. Overall, a good buy for the price if you need a replacement and can get the key blank cut at a reasonable price.

    Excellent buy! I'm thrilled!

    I believe I read somewhere on another review that the buyer had to have the key ground because the new key was riveted. That must have changed because I simply swapped the new metal key for the original. There is a small screw on the back that retains the metal key. I fixed my old broken fob with this after swapping the key and electronics. Looks brand new and saved me a ton of money. I'm thrilled!
