These running boards are the best!! I have looked at many different styles and couldn't find the ones I wanted until I found these. I got them this week and installed them today. They make my awesome Jeep look even more awesome. They were easy to install even though no directions came with them. I highly recommend this wonderful product!

The first issue I have is that both rails were dented in on one end. (Driver side front) (passenger side rear) Second issue is that the hardware supplied is complete garbage and would not be surprised if many people would strip the threads on the bolts. Third the bolts that attach to the pinch seem are barely long enough and required me to assemble without the lock washers first to compress everything then remove all the bolts and reinstall with the lock washers. Over all like I said in the title they do the job but overall they could be better. Also there are no instructions provided.

I really love the look and sturdyness of the side steps. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the supplied bolts are A. Brass colotred and B. Low quality. The bolts are 4.8 for hardness. I ordered some 10.9 black oxide bolts of the same size that are locking flange bolts. Also bought some stainless flat washers and stainless locking flange nuts. Worked great.

The final look of these gets the job done for a budget. I didn't love the way it looked against the outside of the frame so I went out and bought Bushwacker rocker panel and door sill pieces which cleaned up the total look by a lot. Also the Bushwacker units came with black hardware which was a real eyesore prior. These units come with goldfish silver bolts which stand out like a sore thumb on a dark green Jeep and black rails.

Looks good on the jeep. Only been on a couple of days, we'll see how long they last. Of note, on the 08 Wrangler, the mounts for the under belly didn't work for me. The holes were there on the Jeep, but the company expected the holes to be threaded. On mine, just the rear holes had threads. The holes in the middle and the front were too large to tap, so I just bought some more washers and nuts. Not the easiest to get to, but they seem to be tight enough.
