    The part fit, passed emissions and is legal in my state. Recommend purchasing for 99 VW beetle

    Ok guys so this part actually worked, it fit, the only thing was that the picture only shows ONE sensor hole and there was actually TWO. No big deal I went to the store and bought a plug for it. If I need to purchase one again in the future I know where to go. I would recommend purchasing. I also live in Colorado and this part is legal in my state, passed emissions test so everything went smooth.

    Buyer beware

    Buyer beware!!!! I'm going to keep this simple and short. I bought this product in June of 2022 for my 99 VW Beetle 2.0 Gasser. At that time, I replaced all the exhaust components. Recently, I started hearing a rattle coming from the exhaust. Could not figure out what it was. Lifted the car and inspected the entire system. I could not believe the material inside the cat had broken loose and rattling inside the can, this is not repairable. Now, since not all the gasses from the engine are flowing past the catalytic material the downstream O2 sensor is throwing some new codes. Since there is zero warranty here. I'm left with having to buy a new catalytic converter from a more reputable source.

    Perfect fit, has extra O2 port

    4 out of 5 star review because it came with ports for two O2 sensors, one ahead and one behind the cat, and my '99 2.0 liter has only one O2 sensor, the one behind the cat. I plugged the extra port with a bolt from the hardware store (18mmx1.50 thread pitch). Also, the cat itself is much smaller diameter than stock, and that may impede flow a bit, but I don't care about that with this car. What was important is that its a perfect fit.

    A lot better than my rusted out pipe;

    Appears to be well constructed and exactly what I need as far as mounting fixtures and spots for sensors. As I have not yet installed it, I can't make any comments on fitment.
