    Keys Do Not Work!

    Tried programming both keys, each one to a different vehicle none of them programmed. Tried checking to see if the chip was correct and it was (80 bit) also checked to see if the remote part was sending out a signal (Wich it was) but the keys just won't program. Tried programming a regular 80 bit with no remote and it worked just fine. Clearly it was the key remotes that were bad.

    These can be programmed if you have two originals

    The following is straight from my 2013 Focus Manual Programming a Spare Integrated Keyhead Transmitter Note: A maximum of eight coded keys can be programmed to your vehicle; all eight can be integrated keyhead transmitters. You can program your own integrated keyhead transmitter or standard SecuriLock® coded keys to your vehicle. This procedure will program both the engine immobilizer keycode and the remote entry portion of the remote control to your vehicle. Only use integrated keyhead transmitters or standard SecuriLock® keys. You must have two previously programmed coded keys and the new unprogrammed key readily accessible.     Dealer would not cut the key

    Dealer refused to cut key, stating that the metal was not good enough and could break off in ignition. I will return them, it has been approved
