    91 d

    My automatic 91 dodge stealth was downshifting at higher speeds after taking my foot off of the gas pedal. ??? It would shift down two or three gears and almost red line. To fix I'd go into neutral while rolling and shut the engine off to reset computer. I first bought this dealer's rebuilt CPU thinking that's where the problem was, once installed the problem remained. I didn't know there was a separate transmission computer but he did, and he had 1 available for my car. I laid out the additional $$ for theTCU and he took the CPU back within stipulated 30 days. The TCU was the issue and my problem is now resolved. I am very happy this service exists for a 1991 car, that this provider had the knowledge I needed as well; great added value! If you need a CPU or TCU, get yourself rolling ...
