It all depends
In my case a central area between the gauge hump and the dash speaker had cracked and fell in. In order to try and get it right i actually went to a body shop and let the pros jack with it. They used a much stronger glue than what came with the product which was covered in Japanese and no idea what it says. It looked much better than before but after 2 months it completely separated and now it just looks awful. At the time I couldn’t justify $350-$500 for an OEM cover but now I wish I had held out for one because this is like a band aid that doesn’t stick to a wound. I bet if your dash isn’t in too bad of shape this cover would be great. Maybe the body shop didn’t get it right? Hard to say but I know they used better glue than what came with the kit to no avail so if you ask me just run ... Clean old dash good an add glue move fast glue drys fast but when it drys it drys good!!! By front window the pad seats good up front by steering wheel i added rocks to hold it down to dry because i notes it will lift i left it over night an bang big up to my car color is darker but its better thin a crack ugly dash an for half the price over a new oem dash cant complain...

Sure it works if you have a dash cover.
For dashboards that no longer have a dash cover this flimsy thing is worthless, if you have 50% or more of the original cover then yes try this cap. Less than 50% and don't bother.
