(Dave Casty)
Its apparennt that the SPEED3 gets its peak power in the mid range RPMs. However, I remember my 92 protege soared at higher revs and this was great for days I had some aggression to get out. The SPEED 3 will suit perfectly on routine shifting, however will fall flat and weak when some aggression is induced. This may or may not be a bad thing as keeping your RPMs in the mid-range is not only common place but also good practice. I like feeling that extra kick in the mid-range which means less down-shifting for the long haul. The 245 lb-ft torque is where the SPEED3 gets most of its balls as this equates to some head-pinning accerelation. Just try to maintain mid-range, otherwise you will you experience clumsy powers fluctuation.
